Eighty dresses from the Collection of Diana, Princess of Wales were auctioned at CHRISTIE'S in June 1997. The auction, referred by Diana as Sequins Saves Lives, was the most profitable in CHRISTIE'S history raising over $3.25 million dollars to support cancer and AIDS charities.
